Our Kabir shirt is a classic button-up shirt made for everyday wear with special details that enhance its overall style. A wardrobe staple, its handwoven and naturally dyed fabric lends itself to a relaxed look and feel. With a standard fit, spread collar, bone buttons, and use of saddle stitching and selvedge throughout.
For selvedge lovers, this shirt is a real treat as its interior enhances the use of a selvedge finish throughout. Cleverly designed, the back pleat highlights the selvedge as well as the inner cuff panels, button placket and side seam gussets.
MATERIALS + PROCESS
Handwoven on a pedal loom, this fabric is delicately woven on a pedal loom in Kutch. Woven with Kala Cotton, the short staple and indegnious cotton native to kutch. Our cotton fabric features a unique diamond structure and has been dyed using Natural Indigo dye. This fabric is perfect for the summer as cotton natively is known to protect the wearer against the harsh heat in Kutch while keeping the wearer warn in the winter months as well. Our naturally dyed base fabric is yarn dyed using natural indigo to provide the rich blue shade.

Produced in a limited run with exclusive handcrafted fabrics. Due to the nature of the print, each piece is unique. Indigo dyeing is a special process that also requires extra care. Indigo bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments and after several initial washes, the color will stabilize. Over time, the natural and graceful fading process results in a uniquely personalized piece.
We recommend hand washing in cold water using natural detergents and drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are designed to last when treated with care.

All Steven Alan brand items ship with USPS Priority Mail for FREE, all the time.
We offer expedited domestic two day air shipping via UPS and FedEx on Steven Alan brand items for a flat rate of $25, for any number of items to any domestic location within the United States. All expedited orders placed before 2pm EST will ship same day, with exception to holidays and weekends.
All partner brand items ship via USPS Priority for $9 or FREE with orders over $150. If any partner brand items are in your cart, and your cart is under $150, you will be charged $9 for shipping. This usually takes 2-3 days for East Coast and 2-4 days for West Coast, but can take up to a week depending on your location.
All orders to Alaska or Hawaii will incur a $25 shipping fee as we ship from the East Coast.

RETURNS
Full price items purchased on stevenalan.com that are postmarked within 14 days of the arrival date are eligible for return, with exception to some items. Items purchased on sale are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. View our full return policy here.
