This limited edition Easy Short is made from a vintage deadstock silk taffeta we found on a sourcing trip a few years back and used for a limited run dress. We were lucky enough to find a bit more and used to for the Easy Short and Lucy Shirts.
When we're getting dressed we think about a few key things: Ease, comfort, and looking effortless. The Easy Short is our answer to staying cool and comfortable while still looking put together. Not too short, not too long, this pull on style has a wide elastic waistband that sits at the natural waist to make it as comfortable and flattering as can be. With subtle pleats in the front and on-seam pockets, these shorts look and feel great.

DEADSTOCK COLLECTION
Over 11 million tons of fabric in the form of clothing and unused textiles go to landfills every year. We go to fabric houses across the New York City area to purchase deadstock and overproduced fabrics, this way we can cut back on fabric overproduction and emissions from long, overseas shipping trips. We love finding these unique, limited textiles and turning them into something new. This piece is part of our deadstock collection.

Easy pull on style, flexible in sizing. These run slightly larger than the poplin version. Take your normal size.

All Steven Alan brand items ship with USPS Priority Mail for FREE, all the time.
We offer expedited domestic two day air shipping via UPS and FedEx on Steven Alan brand items for a flat rate of $25, for any number of items to any domestic location within the United States. All expedited orders placed before 2pm EST will ship same day, with exception to holidays and weekends.
All partner brand items ship via USPS Priority for $9 or FREE with orders over $150. If any partner brand items are in your cart, and your cart is under $150, you will be charged $9 for shipping. This usually takes 2-3 days for East Coast and 2-4 days for West Coast, but can take up to a week depending on your location.
All orders to Alaska or Hawaii will incur a $25 shipping fee as we ship from the East Coast.
