We’re excited to release an extremely limited edition drop of the Lucy Shirt and Easy Shorts in the most lovely, playful deadstock vintage silk taffeta. Playful, colorful, and unexpected.
When we were on a fabric sourcing trip a few years ago, we came across this silk taffeta fabric and fell in love, learning that it was originally designed as a hat liner. There was barely any left and we used it to make a dress that flew off the shelves. We were lucky enough to come across the rest of the batch of fabric and from it cut our favorite Lucy Shirt and Easy Shorts.
We imagine wearing these now together as a statement set, wearing the shirt with pants as a fall and holiday top later this year, and wearing the shorts as a pop of color with sweaters through the rest of the fall.
